Seaforth and Derek Gridzak, of Egmondville were ushers.

Seaforth Legion and the couple are residing In Seaforth.

gram which ran for three
sessions this past year. In-
structing both courses will be

Fit", Cheryl Phillips who.

The new Trim,A-Size pro-
gram consists of a one hour
Bass once a week and
concentrates on exercises
which stretch, trim and tone,
A 20 minute peak cardiovas-
cular work-out is included to
get heart rates up.
Cheryl stresses that the
program ,is for both people
who want to trim a few
inches or pounds as well as
those who have no weight to
lose but want to improve
their fitness level.
Every session is complete-
ly different with new music,
new dances and new ,exer-
• cise movements to ensure
that the classes never get
routine or boring.
. -Anyone interested in try-
ing Dance Fit or Trim -A -Size
before signing up is welcome
to attend the first weeks
classes free to see if they like
it.
Seniors enjoy Story book Gardens
A bus trip to Springbank
Park and Storybook. Gardens
was enjoyed by residents of
Seaforth Health Care Facility
on Wednesday, Aug. 17. As
guests,of Greenwood Nurs-
ing Home, London a deli-
cious salad plate was served.
to all by the staff of Green-
wood.
Residents enjoyed the
walk through Storybook Gar-
dens and seeing all the
animals especially the seals.
Edison McLean was our
courteous driver and also
took everyone for a drive
around Springbank Park. Sid
Pearson on behalf of Seaforth
residents thanked Mrs. C.S.
Thornton, residents and staff
of Greenwood for their hospi-
tality for the day. Miss Ida
Gardener of Seaforth was the
birthday lady of the day.
Aug. 17 being her birthday.
Worship service was held
on Friday afternoon with
Mrs. Shirley Luther of the
Salvation Army in charge.
Shirley also played the piano
and pleased everyone with
her beautiful voice. Many old .
favourite hymns were sung
and refreshments followed.
A picnic barbecue was
enjoyed by all residents -on
Thursday for noon lunch.

flavoured liqueur and sugar in a blender;
puree 30 seconds. In medium bowl whip
cream until stiff. Fold cherry mixture
into whipping cream. Spoon into parfait
glasses and chill 1 hour. Serve garnished
