enjoyed by residents on Wed-
nesday at noon.
The August resident coun-
cil meeting was held on
Thursday morning and a
number of items came up in i
the business. An invitation
was accepted from Green-
wood Health Care Facility in
London to join with them for a
picnic on August 17th to be
held at Pt R SON
Park.

on Sunday. Mso visiting

her husband James Nolan on
Sunday also Mr. Terrance
Hussey of Egmondville took
Mr. and Mts. Nolan, Harold
-Walsh, Elmer Bakesy and
Alvin McNain for a drive.
Mrs. Gladys Ruston spent
Sunday at her home in
Stratford.
Mrs. Ruth Noll spent the
weekend . at her home in
Palmerston with her hus-
band.
Miss Norma Streets accom-
panied by her friend Mrs,
Phyllis Lee enjoyed an outing
and shopping last week.
Vacation time is at hand
and a number of staff are on
vacation.

married Aug. 6 at St. Andrew's United Church, Kippen.
The bride's attendants were Bonita Niemeyer, Debbie
Stubbs, Cindy McDougall. Marlene Campbell, Heather
• Ann Stubbs and Lisa Stubbs, all of Stroud. The groom's
attendants were Ervine Willert, of Hensall, Gordon Love,
of Zurich, Jeff McKay, of Exeter and Jeff Mallard, of
Parkhill. Mrs. Belva Fuss was the organist. Officiating
ministers were Rev. Stanley C. MacDonald and Mr.
Donald Moffatt. The reception took place at the Hensel'
Community Centre. After their wedding trip to Northern
Ontario, the couple will reside at RR2 Kippen.

Margaret Eckert, daughter of Conrad and Claire Eckert,
of Seaforth and Daniel Mahoney, son of Hugh and the late
Patricia Mahoney, of St. Catharines were married July 29
at the $t. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth. Maid
of honor was Patricia Dowling, of Horse Island.
Bridesmaids were Stacy Ross, of Waterloo, Marlene
Turnbull of Calgary and Ruth Melady, of Burlington.
Michael Mahoney, ofi3t. Catharines was the best man and
William Miller, of Toronto, Brian Hartwick, of Toronto and
Michael Ford, of St. Catharines were. ushers. Rev. J.
Charles Caruana officiated: Organist was Mary Elizabeth
Kreutzwiser, violinists were the McQuaid sisters, guitarist
was Thomas Burke and soloists were Kathryn Crawford,
Karen Melady add Shamus Doherty. After their wedding
trip to the east coast, the couple will reside in Hamilton.

Don Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, of Sarnia,
were married July 16 in Seaforth at the Northside United
Church. Rev. T.A.A. Duke officiated. Maid of honour was
Mary Helen Costello of Seaforth, and bridesmaids were
Lynn Smith, Janis Field and Terry Burris all of Sarnia.
Tony Bagley, Fort McMurray, Alberta, was best man.
Ushers were Bradley Rice of Seaforth, Brian Smith of
Sarnia, and Wesley Segade of §arnia. After a short
honeymoon the couple will reside at 399 Talfourd St.,
Sarnia.

Marjorie Elizabeth Keys, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Arnold Keys, of RR1 Varna and Donald Charles Wise, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wise, of Holmesville were married
July 30 at the Goshen United Church. Matron of honor was
Mrs. Kathy Bylsma, of Clinton. Bridesmaids were Vickie
Merner, of RR3 Clinton, Mrs. Monica Keys, of Exeter and
Mrs. Pat Hodgins, of Brampton. Karen Wise, of
Cumberland Beach was flowergirl and Gregory Keys, of
1111 Varna was ringbearer. Groomsman was Paul
Middleton, of RR3 Clinton and Rob Wise, of Cumberland
Beach, Steven Keys, of RR1 Varna and Ken Wise, of
London were ushers. Rev. Wilena Brown officiated. The
reception took place at the Goderich Township Community
Centre. After their wedding trip to Eastern Ontario and
New York State, the couple will reside at RR3 Clinton.

Mrs. Nesbitt is an Assis-

Programme at Northwestern
Secondary School, Stratford
where she and her husband,
Mt. Harry Nesbitt, have been
teaching for 14 years. Mrs.
Nesbitt is vice-president of
the Huron -Perth Council for
Exceptional Children.

St. Joseph's Hospital, Lon-

June 24th at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Dublin.

Van Bergen and bridesmaids were Nancy Scott, Susan
Heffernan, and Laurel Ann Roney. Best man was Bob
Scott. Ushers were Kevin Scott, Ray Heffernan, and Ron

Huron 4-H Crops
Club visits farm
The fifth meeting of the
Central Huron 4-H Crops Club
was held ill the farm of Den
Moylan. The meeting started
off with a tour of Pat's 4-H
barley, plot. which everybody
thought looked pretty good.
Behind has sad s barn a field
of white beans looked very
good.
Larry Wheatley. club lead-
er then showed his combine
and how to set one for grain.
