Caruana. °A picnic barbecue was enjoyed by residents on Wed- nesday at noon. The August resident coun- cil meeting was held on Thursday morning and a number of items came up in i the business. An invitation was accepted from Green- wood Health Care Facility in London to join with them for a picnic on August 17th to be held at Pt R SON Park. AIS Mr. ErieSSDaw enjoyed an outing with his daughter Mrs. Mabel Clark, Miss Mary Lamont visited with her cousin Kelly Lamont on Sunday. Mso visiting Kelly last week were Mr. and Mrs. Von Lamont of Goder- ich. Mrs. Mary Nolan visited her husband James Nolan on Sunday also Mr. Terrance Hussey of Egmondville took Mr. and Mts. Nolan, Harold -Walsh, Elmer Bakesy and Alvin McNain for a drive. Mrs. Gladys Ruston spent Sunday at her home in Stratford. Mrs. Ruth Noll spent the weekend . at her home in Palmerston with her hus- band. Miss Norma Streets accom- panied by her friend Mrs, Phyllis Lee enjoyed an outing and shopping last week. Vacation time is at hand and a number of staff are on vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bol- ton visit1 with Mr. Finlay Ross. Mr. C.S. Thornton and Mrs. Anne 'helm, .D.Q:C, attended a meeting at Erin Mills Lodge. Toronto last Wednesday. -. The meeting started off with a tour of Pat's 4-H barley, plot. which everybody thought looked pretty good. Behind has sad s barn a field of white beans looked very good.
