On Saturday, August 10th, there passed away at his residence near Holmesville, one of the most respected farmers of Goderich township, in the person of Samuel Walter. Mr. Walter was born in Devonshire, Eng., 68 years ago, and came to Canada in 1856. He settled in Clarke township, Durham Co. In 1869 he married Miss A. Barrie, daughter of the late Thomas Barrie, of Newcastle. In 1376 he removed to Goderich township, where he bas since resided, Mrs. J. Hatcher, 224 Sherbrooke Street, Peterboro, Ont., and whose husband is a moulder at the Hamilton Foundry, states: "I had an attack of inflammatory rheumatism which left me in a very run down state of health, and in fact my whole nervous system seemed exhausted and worn out.
