Legion says thanks to community
Last weekend we attended
the official opening of our
new community centre. That
so much was done in so short
a time can only attest to the
efficient way the community
in charge did their Job. On
behalf of the Legion I would
Ike to thank all those who
gave of their time and talents
to make this beautiful com-
plex possible. It's certainly a
tribute to our community and
the people who live here.

Watson and his wife Betty
attended the District Sports
meeting at Walkerton. The
meeting was well attended
by the different branches of
the district, Any sports
awards 50 our Lone went to
Wild flowers are Horticultural topic
The Seaforth Horticultural
Society held their May meet-
ing at the Public ,School.
President Ruth Beuttenmiller
welcomed everyone. The so-
ciety will take part in the the
.August Farmers Market only.
Beatrice Stoll gave an excel-
lent report on the district
annual convention held in
Lucknow.
Nancy Martin, Mary
Chapple and Isabel Scott will
be delegates for the Ontario
Horticultural Convention in
June at-lamilton this year.
'Ruth Smith reported a
successful plant sale with
profits of about $200.
Guest speaker, Peter
Yaremko and gave a slide
presentation on wild flowers.\
He also gave some useful
photography tips.
