at Blyth Centre for the Arts on
Saturday. May 14 at 3:30
p.m.
Lois, Herb and the Pupp-
corns have entertained child-
ren from Whitehorse to Flor-
ida, lroln NO. Brunswick to
British Columbia.
Five boys were baptized during Mother's Day services at
First Presbyterian Church on Sunday. They are: Jason John
Anstett, son of Douglas and Nancy Anstett; Michael James
Dillon, son of Gerald and Debbie Dillon; Michael James
Sinnamon, son of Murray and Deta Sinnamon: Bradley Joseph
Van Bakel, son of John and Janet Van Bakel and Dean Shawn
Wood, son of Rick and Joan Wood.
Douglas Wright of'Kanata, a suburb of Ottawa, spent the
weekend with his parents Art and Mrs. Wright, John St. He
also visited his brother Donald Wright and family at Clinton.
Douglas is manager in the Toronto Dominion Bank in that city.
To publicize high school students' search fol summer
jobs, the Canada Employment Centre for students in the
county is sponsoring an advertising contest. Winners and
second prizes will be picked from SDHS and Clinton. Goderich
and Exeter high schools. One county -wide winner, whose work
will be used in a promotional ad campaign. will be chosen from
the school winners. The over-all winner will receive up to S40
in prizes.

the "Federation String
Trophy" with the highest
mark of 89 in strings at the
Kiwanis Music Festival in
Stratford on April 28.
Her sister Carol Ann, 9,
was presented with the
"Lorne Francis Trophy" in
dass of 11 finalists with C
mark of 88.
The McQuaid Sisters,
Anne Marie, and Madonna,
who received "Sister Valen-
tia's Senior String Trophy"
• with a Grade X Concerto by
J.S. Bach, a mark of 88.
The girls are presently
studying with Mrs. Marjorie
