longer. Eight boxes cnred me."
Why don't you use Ferrozone also, it

place. Saturday afternoon and had the
boys and dogs "run her down." A tough
old hen that is chased all over the plane
and frightened oat of her life is as tender
as a spring lamb when cooked. Fright
makes any animal, bird or fowl tender,

The Span of Life.
"Do married people live longer than
single?" asks the American joker, and
the answer comes back quick: "No, it
only seems longer!"
This is not the tree answer, and the
following may be accepted as theresult
of serious investigation into the question
of longevity. Married people live long -
or than the unmarried, the temperate
and industrious longer than the glutton-
ous and idle, and civilized nations longer,
than the unoivilized. Tall persons enjoy
a greater longevity than small ones.
Women have a more favorable chance
of life before reaching their fiftieth
year than men, but a less favorable one
after that period. The average duration
of life is 33 years. One-fourth of the
population of the earth dies before st-
aining the seventeenth year, Of a
thousand persons, only one roaches the
age of a hundred years, and no more than
six that of 65 years.
