The May flowers bloomed,
the sun shone brightly and
the rain was replaced with
very cool breezes. The fresh
brisk air did not keep all the
travellers from visiting with
their mom or grandma on
Mother's Day.
On Saturday, it was nice to
see so many young people in
different towns picking out
cards with just the right verse
for their mornagd to see them
with flowers erla wee gift to
show how much they really
care for their mother. No
doubt all the mothers were
bubbling over with pride at
having such kind and
-thoughtful children.
The farmers are patiently
waiting for the land to dry in
order to get back to their
seeding, but all the rain lately
has made this quite impossi-
ble. We were very fortunate
to have missed the tornadoes
that struck in other communi-
ties this past week. The grass
is really growing and so are
the ever popular dandelions.
