Catherines were married at the home of the brides' parents on
April30. Rev. T.A.A. Duke officiated. The reception was held
at the Little Inn in Bayfield. The couple will reside in Ottawa.

Olga Prosper. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murdock Prosper.
of Corner Brook, Newfoundland and James Stoll, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Edgar Stoll, of RR3 Kippen were married at Staffa
United Church on March 26. The maid of honour was Dianne
Elliott, of RRI Londesboro..and the bridesmaids were Karen
Loder, of Summcrside. Nfld.; Nancy Stoll. of Kippen;.,Verna
Bernard. of St. Catherines; Maureen Newman. of Corner
Brook, Nfld.; Pamela Schwartzentruber. of Tavistock: and
Bertha Prosper. of Corner Brook, Nfld. The flower girl was
Tammy Prosper. of Staffs and Wayne Prosper. of Staffa was
the ring bearer. Carman Riley. of RR 1 Londesboro was the best
man 'and the ushers were Earl Ekgoetz. of Sebringville;
Stephen Prosper. of Sebringville;, .Murdock ,prosper
Stratford; Bill Elliott. oftoidestoro;'Ken Stoll; if eafirrf1i;
and Bruce Prosper, of Corner Brook, Nfld. Rev. Wilfred Fcarn
officiated. The reception was held at 'the Royal Canadian
Legion in Seaforth. The couple wilt reside at RR2 Staffa.

On Friday. February 11, 1983, Loretta Keller and Wayne
Douglas Henderson exchanged marriage vows at the Main
Street United Church, Mitchell in a single ring ceremony. Rev.
Don Pletsch officiating. The bride is the daughter of Ted and
Rosa Keller, of Mitchell. and the groom is the son of Stewart
and Peggy Henderson of Mitchell. The bride was attended by
Miss Dianne Gaffney, as the maid of honour, Mrs. Jane Graul,
Miss Pat O'Connor, friends of the bride and Miss Sandra
Henderson. sister of the groom, as bridesmaids, Doug Bell,
friend of the groom. was best man. Guests were ushered by
Randy Walker, Murray Feltz and Bruce Robinson, friends of
the groom. Mrs. Heather Keller, sister-in-law of the bride, was
the soloist, accompanied by Ernie Harley. Following the
reception and dance held at the Mitchell and District
Community Centre, the happy couple lett for a honeymoon to
Niagara Falls. Upon returning home, ,the couple took up

On Thursday afternoon
Bible Study was held in the
Huronview Chapel with Mrs.
Prouty in charge of the
service.
Shirley Prouty sang a love-
ly solo. Elsie Henderson
presided at the organ.
Sunday morning worship
was held in the chapel with
Rev. Norman Pick in charge.
In the evening there was a
hymn sing in the chapel with
Dick Roorda in charge. Marg-
aret McQueen presided at the
organ. Monday evening was
music' appreciation session
with Bruce Cookson.
Tuesday afternoon folks
from Special .Care met in the
activity room, where they
took part in games. Some of
them even enjoy getting up
for a dance. This is really
good to see. Refreshments
were served and the residents
spent a• social time together.
The ladies from the Elim-
ville Wmen's Institute to con•
vened the April birthday
party. Evelyn Archer opened
the program with a few
remarks and welcomed our
guests. Lorne Alfred and Cliff
Jacques delighted the aud-
ience with piano and violin
numbers. Elsie Henderson
assisted at the piano when the
two gentlemen played mouth -
organ and violin selections.
Mrs. Evelyn Horne played
a medley of old time favour-
ites on the piano. Fancy
cupcakes and tea were served
and Frank Bissett thanked
the guests

from the Christian Reformed
School in Clinton presented

The sixteenth annual
Westminster Weekend 1983
will be held May 27 to May
29 at Westminister College,
W indcmcre Road. London.
This year's theme is "The
Great I Am", based on John
8:58. Rev. Frances Clarke will
conduct bible study periods.
She is a daughter of a United
Church minister and has
served the church in Brant•
ford. Burlington and Sarnia
and is now associate minister
at Metropolitan United
Church. London.
Worship will he led by Rev.
Morley Clarke, M.A., Th.
M.. From
1961-1981, he was on staff
with London Conference and
in July 1981 began a full
ministry at Metropolitan
United Church, L.ondon,.with
concentration being directed
towards Adult Christian De-
velopment and Leadership
Training and Marriage and
Family Life.

Riley welcomed them then
turned the program over to
the principal, Ralph Schur -
man who introduced the
numbers. Mary Hearn super-
vised the production and the
accompanist was Diane
Bruinsma. Ron Greydanas
who has only been playing the
piano for two years displayed
much talent and control as
he played beautifully.
The production was su-
perbly done' and the music
was excellent. The songs
were catchy and invigorating.
Helen Bradley thanked our
guests for coming and shar-
ing this wonderful talent with
us.

Recipe of the week
SAUTEED CHICKEN BREASTS
WITH GOLDEN MUSTARD
MAYONNAISE
8 half chicken breasts
25 mL butter
salt and freshly ground black pepper
125 mL,white wine or chicken stock
Trim excess fat from chicken. Season
with salt and pepper. Heat oil and butter is
Targe fry pan over medium high heat. Saute
chicken. Do not crowd; cook to two batches
or two large pans. Brown on both sides. Add
wine or broth, reduce heat, cover and
simmer 20-30 minutes, until chicken is
tender. Remove to plate to cool. When cool,
cover and chill until serving.
To serve, remove chicken from ger
ator about 20 minutes before serving.
Arrange on large platter. Pour Golden
Mustard Mayonnaise over and garnish.
Additional sauce can be served in sauce-
boat. Makes 8 servings.

GOLDEN MUSTARD MAYONNAISE
2 eggs
% cup lemon juice
2 tsp. curry powder
'/r tsp. salt
'/a tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 cups light vegetable oil
Combine eggs, lemon juice, seasonings,
mustard and // cup oil in food processor or
blender. Cover and blend a few seconds.
With machine running, slowly add remain-
ing 11/2 cup oil in a slow. steady stream.
almost drop by drop. (If preparing by hand,
whisk together a1f the ingredients except
1 t/y cups oil, until smooth. Slowly add
remaining oil in a thin stream, whisking
constantly.)
Cover and chill until serving. To serve
with chicken, remove from refrigerator 20
minutes before serving. If you prefer a
thinner sauce. whisk in some milk until
desired consistency is reached. Makes 21/
cups.
