May is a very special month
as the early flowers are in full
bloom, the trees unfold their
leaves to cover the on e
barren branches and the
grass gooks like an emerald
.carpet; But the most impor-
tant day in May is' Mother's
Day.
Out mother is the key
person in our life from the
mom4nt of our conception.
She whlks the'floor through
the periods of colic, our first
teeth, .with worry from high
fever and illness and as we
prow older, the walk becomes
a pace as she awaits the
return of the family car pp a
Saturday night. A, mother
consoles and kisses the hurt
away , when we 9 fall and
scratch our knees or cut a
ringer when we are little. As
we become young adults:
mother is always there to
listen' to our problems and
'short -comings and in return
remembers this very same
time in•her life when she too
• needed her mother to patient-
ly listen to her little whims
;and passing fancies.
As youngsters we never
appreciated the time mom
spent baking goodies and
special treats. Or the fact that
our clothes were tlways'clean
and pressed with all the
buttons in place. aar the
school and community bloc-
,/ tions she attended and the
miles she drove to deliver a
car load of tots to that all
importantme.
Ouite o en many of us
never rea ize what a Toad of
responsibility and how much
of her life a mother really
gives to her children. What a
shame for many, who must
first become parents before

You might be shocked to find out.
Inflation and fluctuating real estate values
have a way of reducing your insurance protection
— unless your policy is constantly up -dated.
Then there are questions of land value,
house foundations and the cost of removal and
re -building.
To fmd out where you stand talk to one of
the I.BAO. insurance brokers listed below
Is there a difference between an I.BAO.
broker and an agent?
• Yes there is. An agent works directly for one
- insurance company. An I.BAO. broker is
▪ independent and unbiased.
Your broker is able to choose a policy that
gives you the right coverage at the sight price...
making sure you're not under -insured of over -
insured and that your interests are well repre-
sented when you come to making a claim. i 1
So call your broker and ask if he or ;
she is a member of the I.BAO.' •
