The group will cater toa wedding reception on Aug. 6 and a committee was named. The annual strawberry and ham supper will be held in the church basement on Wed. June 22. The Marion Ritchie Auxil- iary quilted on Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. John Templeman. The March meeting of Hibbert United Church Women was held in the Fancily Life Centre on the 9th. Letters of appreciation will be sent to those whose generous donation of mater- ials and skills produced the beautiful oak cross which now graces the front of the church. Donations are to be made to the Medical electives fund and last year's penny collec- tion is to be sent to support the seeds, for Zaire. Daffodil tea in Main St. United Church, Mitchell, March 26 was mentioned and the Presbyterial special event in North St. United. Goderich on April 11. John. Roberta and Rob Templeman attended the Farm Project Orals at the Centralia College on Friday. MRS. CEC1rLIA RYAN 3452028 Fourteen tables were in play at the final game of the Knights of Columbus euchre tournament in the.K of C hall in St. Columban on Friday night. The winners for the most games were Mrs. Char- lene Delaney of Dublin and Leon Maloney end for the most lone hands, Roy Swart. The winners for the tour- nament in the singles were first -Mrs, Charlene Delaney, second Mrs. Theresa Ma- loney and third Louis Ma- loney. In the doubles the winners were: first Louis and Theresa Maloney, second Mamie and Charlene Delaney and third Jint and Jean Maloney. It was decided to hold two more card games on March 18 and 25 at 8 p.m. Joanne Swart of London spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs, Roy Swart.
