MARTIN VAN MIGHT
Martin Van Tright of
Strathroy died in Florida on
Jan. 29, 1983. He was the
husband of the former Mary
Duncan, who survives along
with their children, Rita,
Mrs. Allan Hock of Belleville;
Trudy. Mrs. Roy Book, of
Elora; Eugene of Calgary;
Ceciliat Mrs. Terry McAn-
drew of Hamilton; David of
Guelph and Jamie at home.
A granddaughter, Jackie
Book of Elora also survives,
along with one brother, three
sisters and several nieces and
nephews. He was prede-
ceased by his mother and
father.
ALBERT LISLE WATT
Albert Lisle Watt of Belle-
ville, husband of Jean Mc-
Quiggd died at his residence
on Sunday, January 23, 1983
in his 87th year.
He was the father of Max
Watts. Brussels, Hubert and
Stephen Watts, Belleville 4nd
Pauline (Mrs. Morris Jones)
of Graspon. He is also sur-
vived by 14 grandchildren
and five great grandchildren,
one brother and two sisters.
The tate Mr. Watt rested at
the Vdnclief Funeral Home,
Belleville until funeral ser-
vice on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Interment Belleville Mauso-
leum.
WILLIAM BARKER
William Barker, 70, of
Crystal Lake, RRS Stratford,
died Friday, January 28, 1983
at the ,Stratford General Hos-
pital.
Born at Goderich, he was a
son of the late Henry Barker
and the former Isabella Birch.
He had been a Stratford area
resident since 1943.
He was a machinist with
the CNR Shops.
He was vice-president of
the Bluebird Club of the
Canadian Arthritis Society, a
member of the Stratford
Stamp Club and Ontario
Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Cecelia Watt; one son,
William J.H. of Stratford;
three daughters, Mrs. Gary
(Isabella) Kohlmeier, o
Windsor; Mrs. Joe (Lorena)
Mero, of Seaforth, and Mrs.
Keith (Patricia) Adamth-
waite, of Edmonton, Alta.;
and eight grandchildren. He
was predeceased by one
grandson and seven brothers.
There will be no funeral
home visitation. The body has
been bequeathed to the
School of Anatomy, Univer-
sity of Western Ontario,
London.
A memorial service will be
held 2 p.m. Monday at
Ontario Street Baptist
Church. Rev. John Torrance
will officiate. r
As expressions of sym-
pathy, donations may be
made to the Canadian Arthri-
tis Society or the Ontario
Heart Foundation.

Alexander Oswald Otto
Walker of London, formerly
of Cromarty, died suddenly at.
his home early Sunday morn-
ing Jan. 30, 1983. He was in
his 48th year.

the late Josephine Walker, he

father Otto Walker, Cromar-
ty, three children Kim, Mi-

held at 1 p.m. Thursday with
committal service at Staffa
Cemetery at approximately
2:30 p.m.

Sunday Jan. 30, 1983 at her
home.
Born in McKillop Town-
ship, she was the former
Mary Maloney, a daughter of
Peter Maloney and the form-
er Clotilda Eckert, of Dublin.
She was a member of St.
Patrick's Roman Catholic
Church, Kinkora, and the
CWL of the parish. She was
also a past president of the
Parent Teachers' Associa-
tion.
Surviving are her husband,
Leonard J. Morrison, whom
she married July 8, 1950; her
parents; three sons, James of
Fort St. John, B.C., John, of
Hamilton and Leonard Jr. of
Edmonton, Alta; three
daughters, (Maureen) Mrs.
Bob Campbell of Kincardine,
(Lynda) Mrs. David Coulton,
of Stratford, and Barbara,
Stratford; five grandchildren,
six brothers, John Maloney of
Seaforth; Frank of Kitchener,
Lou, Steve and Peter, all of
Dublin, and -Jim of Mitchell;
and three sisters, (Teresa)
Mrs. Harold Mederak of ;'?t,
chener; (Margaret) Mrs. Pat-
rick O'Rourke of Burlington,
and Mrs. (Joan) Jack Hagarty
of Stratford. She was prede-
ceased by two grandsons,
Scott and Patrick.
Friends ,were received at
the Heath -Leslie funeral
home, 145 Ontario Rd., Mit-
chell Monday and Tuesday.
Transfer was made to St.
Patrick's Roman Catholic
Church, Kinkora, for visita-
tion after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral mass was celebrated
