Thank heavens do twp
days or years are the same,
because last year at this time
we were shovelling our way
out of a huge snow storm and
were burdened with four'
more weekends of almost the
same: But that's what makes
life so intriguing as one never
tvows what is in store for
omorrow. The optimist al-
ways plans great and wonder-
ful happenings, while the
pessimist only Looks for the
dark and dreary disasterous
side of life.
The sen shone brightly all
wilekend and the clear, cold
air brought back the colour in
the cheeks of the out-of-doors
people, The skiers were still
left witout much snow but it
will cow yet, it's just a
matter cif knowing when.

first semester. Their school
year is half over and before
you know it they will be out
for the March break and then
for the summer holidays. And
you say time doesn't fly. It
seems like they just started
the school year. i noticed this, ,
week that the Sears spring
and summer catalogue is out
and we haven't even recover-
ed from Christmas. -• Mind
you, the look of all those
lovely fashions and slim mod-
els makes us all think more
seriously about our New
Year's resolution to shed a
few unwanted bumps. When
one turns to the bathing suits
it makes you want to rip the
page out. 1 bet the mothers of
those models were lousy
c,g9ks, °howxelse could they
look so fabulous? The Sears .
catalogue should be called;
'Wishes and Dreams'. We all
wish we could afford a new
wardrobe like we see in the
book and dream about own-
ing a gorgeous body to hang it
on. But alas, when one wakes
up you look in the mirror and
there you are in your old
T-shirt, blue jeans and sneak-
ers. Oh well, it is not only
what one wears that makes
one beautiful but what quali-
ties are revealed from within.
For beauty is only skin deep
and ugliness goes to the
bone.
