Mr. Caldwell had prepared a supplemen-
tary report on the development which he
plans to .present. Lo Huron County Council.
Many of his concerns within the report
dealt with the possible unsuitability of
rezoning Lots 6 and 9 to High Density
Residential. His report stated that "It is
also worth suggesting that future rezoning
of Lot 9 be carefully' monitored and se-
cond, there is some merit m retaining a
VC3 (Commercial /Industrial i zoning on
Lot 6 until such time as a specific residen-
tial proposal for that building is brought
forth." Mr, Matthews concurred with.this
suggestion.
Another item in his report ',pointed to
possible landscaping measures within_ the
Village. and he suggested that Cowin,
might consider making an effort to reduce
the 'incompatibilities' between the develop-
ment area and .abutting industrial lands
through tree planting, greenway develop-
ment and other efforts. A citizen at the.
public Meeting echoed the sentunent
"Has Council ever considered that'r", the
man addressed Reeve George Cantelon "It
think now might be a good time for Coun-
cil to consider a.,pioper plan for industrial
and residential areas."
After the public meeting, Council moved
to accept the Site Plan with the amend-
ments concerning the open space and the
removal of Lasts 6 and 9 from consideration
