The week at Seaforth Manor began with Maplewood Manor visiting for an afternoon of euchre and Christmas treats. Big win- ners were: Ladies High Margaret Smale, Men's High Frank Smale, Lone Hands Mina Scott, Ladies Low Mamie Ross and Men's Low Keith Herman. Thanks to Maplewood residents for supplying the lovely Christmas prizes. Tuesday morning was a special treat as residents had a Santa Claus Wheelchair Parade through the Manor. With the help of five Grade 5/6 students, Keith Herman (AKA-Lil' Drummer Boy), Edith Salo (AKA -Rudolph), Wilma Brill (ARA Christmas Tree), Alvin Dodds (AKA Wise Man) and Eva Netzke (AKA Angel) put on a show residents won't soon forget ! ! Carol Carter charmed residents with her piano solos in the afternoon. Everyone Tey enjoys singing along to their favorite Christmas carols. A few ladies then gathered to try their hand at Gingerbread House making. Despite great efforts by everyone ... well let's just say residents ended up eating it earlier than they intended to! Thanks to the broomball girls for their special treats at night time. Ripping and tearing could be heard throughout the manor as residents opened their Christmas gifts from the owners, Ed and Carolyn Ozimek, Administrator, Ruth Hildebrand and Director of Care Joanne Ryan. Everyone enjoyed this taste of Christmas! The Preszcator step dancers from Clin- ton entertained at night. Young girls were step dancin' and their parents were clog- ging!
