HEALTH ON THE HILL
A Review of activities at
SEAFORTII COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
Activation Group News
The patients lounge is festively decorated for the season thanks to the donation of a nativity
scene by Sheila Feeney.
It has greatly added to the atmosphere. Thanks Sheila.
Recently Christmas music could be heard coming from the lounge when the patients tried
their hands at several different instruments during a Christmas Music Funshop. As well,
on Dec. 22 at 11:00 a.m. the patients will be able to sit back and enjoy a concert provided
by the Huron Strings. Christmas morning will again find the patients pleased that Santa has
come! Donations of presents can be placed in the patients lounge.
Merry Christmas from the Activation Co-ordinators - Carol Hunt and Mary Margaret Nash.
We Apologize...
Hibbert Township was missed in the Expositor's special edition published for the Hospital's
Opening. We appreciate their support in our fund raising campaign.
Hospital Heroes
Just when the pace starts to slow down for most hospital staff, the food service staff really
finds their service in demand. Not only do they prepare special meals for Christmas cater-
ing, but they have been baking dozens of cookies for the Hospital opening and a staff Christmas
social. As well, Christmas and New Year's Day wouldn't be the same for patients, visitors
and staff on three different shifts without the traditional turkey dinner and all the trimm-
ings. We appreciate their hard work and excellent cooking skills.
