Vou see, little Clausette was born on
Christmas eve. Santa -had to be with his
wife while she gave birth to Their first
child. He missed Christmas. He was going
to deliver the toys Christmas night
On the afternoon of Christmas Day Mrs.
Claus returned home.
"Honey when I take the toys out tonight
may my little Clausette come with me''
Santa asked.
"She • was just born last fright"' exclaim-
ed Mrs. Claus
"'Yes, of course, but I want her to learn
the ropes as soon as possible'" protested
Santa,
"She's hardly old enough to team
anything ,.,
Santa knew he had lost this arguement
and he went out to the workshop to pout
Finally it was time to deliver the toys
When he thought of the delight the little
children faces would hold tomorrow mor-
ning when they find the toys under the
tree he felt a titch better.
"Next year, he said mourningly , next
year my dear Clausette.

brough home a bum off .the street
On Christmas eve the Odin stole all of
the presents when they were sleeping.
When the Stevensons got up all the gifts
were gone. They ran out the door and trip-
ped over the presents.
The bum must of felt bad; so he left the
gifts there.
The Stevenson never Saw the bum again

TRE STORY OF THE.
STAR
I was above the stable shining so bright
I was the star that shone above the stable
A proud star I was 1. For in the stables
below me lay the newborn King. f guided
the wisemen to see the new bornBaby. It
seemed like such a happy night because
they all said their King was born. It seem-
ed like such a pleasure to shine above the
stables who some day in this manger lay
the baby who God hoped we would all wor-
ship. Mind you it is out of luck that Jesus
was born here because there was no room
left anywhere else. Really they had no
choice because there was no more shelter
Many people. were coming in and out
Everyone in that seemed quite happy.
There were .also animals in the stable of
what I could see. The next night they
. departed with Joseph leading the donkey
with Mary and .Jesus riding. I was very
happy to shine above the stable where
Jesus Christ was born.
