MRS. 'CLAUS HAS A BABY
The town ,stared at the front page of the
local 'Newspaper.
The little -girl was named Claasette. The
report read.
"Unbelievable" cried villagers in
bewilderment.
The children about the world had mixed
emotions about the b1rth'olf little Clausette
You see, little Clausette was born on
Christmas eve. Santa had to be with his
wale while she gave birth to their first
child. -He missed Christmas. lie was going
to deliver the toys Christmas night
On the afternoon of Christmas Day Mrs
Claus returned home.
"Honey when I take the toys out tonight
may my little Clausette come with me
Santa asked.
"She was lust born last night"' exclaim-
ed Mrs. Claus
"Yes, of course, but I want her to learn
the ropes as soon as possible." protested
Santa.
"She's hardly old enough to learn
anything "'
Santa knew he had lost this arguement
and he went out to the workshop to pout.
Finally it was time to deliver the toys
When he thought of the delight the little
children faces would hold tomorrow mor-
ning when they find the toys under the
tree he felt a Itch better.
"Next year, he said mourningly. next
year my dear clausette.

SANTA THINKS OF
A VACATION
Santa was sad he could not decide where
to go on his vacation this year. Maybe
Florida thought -Santa. Oh I can't go there
I went there .last year. I got it! California:
Can't go there neither my bathing suit
does not fit. I got to go somewhere. Wait
I have the perfect place Australia. I've
never been there before. Just think of the
fun I would have. Playing with seals wear-
ing little skirts with pretty colours. What
a time! I could see whales and live in
grass hooses, play on the beach in warm
sun, but I'll have to check my calendar.
Oh no its two days before "Christmas Eve
and Ive got so caught up in it all I forgot
about the toys and Christmas Eve. But
that's eke I'll wait till next year. And now
I have to go to work. (Came on elves we
have to get too work.
And still today Santa still thinks of e
vacation.

THE SIEVENSONS UNLUCKY
LUCKY autuSTMA6
There once was this family named the
Stevenson. They were robbed Christmas
eve.
It all started off when their son. Joey.
brough home a bum off the street
On Christmas eve the burn stole all o!
the presents when they were sleeping.
When the Stevenson got up all the gifts
were gone. They ran out the door and trip-
ped over the presents.
'The bum must of felt bad. so he left the
gifts there.
The.Stevensons never saw the burn again
and had a very Merry Christmas.

THE STORY OF 'THE
STAR
I was above the stable shining so bright
I was the star that shone above the stable
A proud star I was I. For in the stables
below me lay the newborn King. I guided
the wisemen to see the new born Baby. It
seemed like such a happy night because
they all said their King was born. It seem-
ed . like such a pleasure to shine above the
stables who some day in this manger lay
the baby who God hoped we would all wor-
ship. Mind you it is out of luck that Jesus
was born here because there was no room
left anywhere else. Really they had no
choice because there was no more shelter.
Many people were coming in and out.
Everyone in that seemed quite happy.
There were also •animals in the stable of
what I could see. The next night they
departed with Joseph leading the donkey
with Mary .and Jesus riding. I was very
happy to shine above the stable where
Jesus Christ was born.

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through .the .barn not a creature
was stirring not even a louse.
All of a sudden a man came in
He tripped over a fork and fell in a bin
Manure?
He got up and cleaned himself off
And he said that he .will never, never fall
into .anything so soft!
