in the first period. Haliburton forgot the
old saying "don't count your chickens till
the last one is hatched" and were astonish-
ed when Seaforth reved up in the second
period. The only penalty of the game by
Haliburton proved untimely and set the
stage for the explosion of great skill by
Seaforth.
With a man advantage Jeff Flanagan
flipped the puck to Boyd Devereaux at the
blue line, who took it behind the net and
slipped it out in front to brother Mike who
get Seaforth on the board with its first
goal. Later in the second Seaforth, firing
a barrage of•shots at the Haliburton goalie,
was unable to get the puck over the goal
line,

power against an equally hot Haliburton
team. Fans were up and down, on the
edge of seats, roaring cheers and en-
couraging their respective teams on.
Seaforth fans obviously won the battle
when Boyd Devereaux fired .the puck to
Mike Devereaux who didn't let his brother
down, scoring the tying goal.
The fans didn't stop and neither did
Seaforth when Jason Henderson nabbed the
puck from a rebound pounded at Halibur-
ton's goalie by Boyd and Mike Devereaux,
giving Seaforth the lead for the first time.
Haliburton was roaring mad and came
back with the heavy artillery, but goalie
Adam Agar pulled off a great save at the
8:49 mark of the third to take the wind out
of Haliburton's sails. Haliburton pulled
their goalie, but Seaforth had the victory
in the bag.

sticks, the fans of this Seaforth Pee Wee
"CCs" would like to congratulate their
players and coaches for their excellent

Despite the snow and cold which
featured the weather program here early
this week, certain flowers seem to have no
difficulty in thriving. Latest example is a
bouquet of bright, cheery pansies which
John Tremeer picked in his Victoria Street
garden on Saturday and brought into the
Expositor office.
