The Super Kid from November 6-10 was Matthew Triebner: He brought his dog Woodstock to visit our classroom. Everyone was thrilled to get to pet Mat- thew's dog. - GRADE 2 The Grade 2 pupils from Huron Centen- nial School went to the Huron County Museum. Everyone had an enjoyable time learning about how Christmas was years ago. They showed them toys that were made and they also got to make one. They were given a treat of either hot or cold cider, and a cookie which was enjoyed by all. Everyone made a craft. It was a decoration like they had for the Christmas tree in the Victorian days. A film was shown about how a girl went back in time and visited her grandmother at Christmas. - GRADE 2/3 Mrs. Tieman's Grade 2/3 class accom- panied Mrs. Baker's class to the Huron County Museum. ,On the way there, the children noticed that they went through Brucefield, Vanastra, Clinton and then Goderich. Some of the crafts they made were made with doilies, construction paper, stickers, strings and sparkles. Everyone had a very enjoyable day. OAT BRAN BREAD GRADE 5/6 On December 4, Miss Reed's Grade 5/6 class will begoingon a field trip to the Goderich Museum. Everyone is looking forward to it. PROBLEM SOLVING One period for four days, each senior class had a 40 minute period of problem solving with Mr. Dyck. Twenty-eight peo- ple got to go on an extra day of problem solving in the library. Nine additional people had the opportunity to go to an enrichment day in Clinton on November 27. It was expected to be a fun, exciting and learning day. REPORTS Report cards were sent November 24. Everyone was awaiting the day.
