Huron Centennial studying bears
In Mrs. Rock's Grade 1
class at Huron Centennial School they
have been busy doing activities about
bears.
The Super Kid from November 6-10
was Matthew Triebner: He brought his
dog Woodstock to visit our classroom.
Everyone was thrilled to get to pet Mat-
thew's dog. -
GRADE 2
The Grade 2 pupils from Huron Centen-
nial School went to the Huron County
Museum. Everyone had an enjoyable
time learning about how Christmas was
years ago. They showed them toys that
were made and they also got to make
one. They were given a treat of either
hot or cold cider, and a cookie which was
enjoyed by all. Everyone made a craft.
It was a decoration like they had for the
Christmas tree in the Victorian days. A
film was shown about how a girl went
back in time and visited her grandmother
at Christmas. -
GRADE 2/3
Mrs. Tieman's Grade 2/3 class accom-
panied Mrs. Baker's class to the Huron
County Museum. ,On the way there, the
children noticed that they went through
Brucefield, Vanastra, Clinton and then
Goderich. Some of the crafts they made
were made with doilies, construction
paper, stickers, strings and sparkles.
Everyone had a very enjoyable day.
