YOUTH FOR CHRIST Approximately 150 attended South Huron Youth for Christ on Saturday, November 4 to hear Teen Challenge from Hamilton, Before the team ministered, Auburn, Goderich and Zurich quiz teams competed in the regular quizzing. Goderich came first with Zurich placing second. Teen Challenge is a rehabiliation centre for men 16 to 35 years of age with drug and alcohol related problems. The pro- gram, which is free of charge, has proven through government research to have an 86 per cent cure rate among its graduates. Eight young men formed the choir ac- companied by Bob LaVeck on the piano. The contemporary music and testimonies revealed how God still changes lives. Roger, one of the Teen Challenge team, spoke of being raised in a Pastor's home, but left home at the age of 16. After several years on his own, he came to the realization that drugs, alcohol and partying did not give the happiness that he had been searching for. Only after making God the Lord of his life did he discover the true meaning and purpose of life - to live and serve his Creator. The audience was challenged to think about who they serve. When you say you • don't believe in God or you're neutral, you have already made your choice.
