Minor Hockey Association. The minor
:hockey players will be going door to door
on- .Saturday morning, to collect _any bottles
you -may .have. If you .have bottles, and
they amiss your residence, you can :drop
them off at the arena anytime on Satur-
day. Your support is greatly .appreciated.

St. 'Thomas Anglican Church will be
sponsoring its ANNUAL BAZAAR. The
bazaar will be held on Saturday,
November 18, starting at 2 p.m. at the
Church Hall. Feature items are a Country
Delhi, a baking .table, craft table, and a
tea table. Admission is free, come out and
support Seaforth's local groups.
St. Thomas Anglican Church will also be
sponsoring a ROAST BEEF DINNER on
week
from 1:30 to 4

Joe Doresers scored two goals for the
easy Riders. Assistance came from Jerry
Zwep, Ed Van Miltenburg and Pete
Menhere. Rick Harris' wrist action shot
counted for the third .goal. He was.assisted
by Steve Eckert and Robert McGregor.
Chances by the Rustlers seemed to vanish
time after time.
KNIGHTS 2 RAIDERS 1
A goal by Joe Vink off tentative passing
from Paul Nyenhuis and Brian Argyle was
the first for the Knights. Steve Ackert got
the second. He was ascicted by Paul
Nyenhuis again. With one second remain-
ing in the game Jack Holmes scored for
the Raiders off passing by Paul Parsons.

Roy Fisher scored for Winthrop off Steve
Gibbings' pass. Ross Mitchell scored for
Parr Line off :]leen passing by Fred
McClure and Brad Campbell. This was.an
awesome game to watch as.these were two
well matched teams.

The Seaforth Junior Ringette team open-
ed its ringette season with an exhibition
game against Mitchell on Saturday at the
arena. The. Junior squad,iooks,.torbe a.pro-
miring team, as it played -well -together
during this first game. '
With the exception of second -year
Junior's Tracey Fortune, Kerry McMillan
and Melody Turner, most the girls were
members of the T.weens last year - win-
ners of the Huron -Perth and Western
Region.As a result it appears this Junior
team has a good shot -at being a winner
this year.
In Saturday's game both teams were
pretty evenly matched .as .the score see -
,sawed back and forth until near the end of
the ,game when Seaforth pulled ahead to
win .9.6.
.Scoring were Tracey Fortune - 4; Kim
Rau - 3; Cheryl McLlwain - 1; Melody
Turner - 1.
Getting assists were Kris Gemmell - 3;
Kirn Rau - 2; Cheryl -McLlwain - 2;
Melody Turner - 2; and Julie ,Carter,
Robyn .Carnochan and Kerry McMillan
each with one.
This year's Juniors are: 'terry McMillan.
Cheryl 'Mcratwam, 'melody imner, Janice
Rodney, Tracey Fortune, Robyn Car-
nochan, Kinn Rau, Julie Darter, Jodie

The Wildcats were led by Don Deighton
with a 273 single .and 725 -triple. Gary
Bedard added games of -239 and 213. John
Aubin a' 209 and Ralph Johnson a,204.
For the Bears Pat Deighton had ;games
of 218, and, -209 but -lost the -touch -in her -last
game. Karl Teichert added a -221 and Deb
Bedard a 196.
The "Guttercats" maintained a slim first
place load winning four .-of seven,,peints

will "be held -at The Parish Hall and two sit-
tings will' be available. The (first sitting will
be from 5 -to 6 p.m. and the second will be

rear of the 'Hospital and go -into the back
door. The 'board 'room is down the hall 'and

The Blyth Festival will be 'sponsoring a
number of performances "JUST FOR
KIDS. Below is the theatre line up for
November and December. Saturday,
November 4, 2 p.m. The Robert Minden
Ensemble; Saturday, November 18, 2 p.m.,
Glenn Bennett; Saturday, December 2, 2
p.m. Kaleidoscope Story Theatre.
All performances -will be held at the
Blyth Memorial Hall. Tickets are on sale
