SDHS basketball teams
The basketball girls from Clinton came
to Seaforth on Wednesday to go against the
hometown Golden Bears.
The Midgets played the first game win-
ning by a score of 41 to 37. Tanya Eckert
was high scorer for Seaforth with 14
split Clinton games
points. Marilyn van den Elz was Clinton's
high scorer with 12 points.
The Senior girls lost 66 to 47. Lisa
Henderson had an outstanding game with
22 points. Amy van den Akker fouled out
in the fourth quarter.
Seahawks to ope
SENIOR SHUFFLEBOARD has begun
once again for all Seniors in Seaforth and
District. Shuffleboard, table tennis or
carpet bowling, it all happens at the Com-
munity Centres every Wednesday afternoon
from 1:30 to 4. p.m.
Last week's winners were: Ladies -
Helen MacKenzie 375, Rose Pringle 306 and'
Mary McMillan 282. Men - Joe O'Reilly
317, Bill Kelley 306, and Lloyd Hoggarth

Select your CITIZEN OF SEAFORTH. In
the fall of every year the Seaforth Recrea-
tion and Parks Committee presents three
valuable volunteers of Seaforth with
awards. The categories are as follows:
1) SERVICE TO SPORTS - A person that
volunteers his/her time to sports organiza-
tions, or sports in general in Seaforth.
2) CIVIC SERVICE - A person that
belongs to a service club or clubs in which
he/she contributes many hours of volunteer
time for the betterment of the community.
3) HUMANITARIAN SERVICE - A person
.who.is considerate of mankind, and is will-
ing to give his/her time to help others.

borne Township.
Between June 5-7, 1988 an unknown
criminals) entered a residence in Col-
borne Township through a basement win-
dow and being unable to get into the main
part of the house they exited then broke
into the main house by removing a storm
window.
Once inside the criminal(s) stole the

The SEAFORTH SEAHAWKS open their
1989-90 home schedule on Friday, October
13. Game time is set for 9 p.m. The in-
termediate league has a new look this
year, with some different teams joining.
The Seahawks will play one of these new'
teams on Friday. They will play the Kur-
taville squad. Come out and enjoy some
