WINNING PRODUCERS, BUYERS - Winning producers in the
pork carcass competition held in conjunction with the Seaforth
Fall Fair were: front, Paul Parsons, 3rd; Carl Bolton, 2nd; Tom
Peckitt, 1st; John Arts, 4th; and Jim Waddell, 5th. Lucky pur-
chasers of the top five hams, located directly behind the pro-
ducer of the ham 'they purchased were: Dave O'Rourke,
O'Rourke Transport; Brian Nigh, Seaforth Co-op; Milton J.
Dietz, Ralston Purina; Keith Siemon, Siemon Farm Systems; Al
Nigh, Hoffmeyer's; and gord Kaastra, Daco Laboratories. The
first and second place hams each sold for $23 per pound; the
third place ham went to $22 per pound, the fourth place ham
for $21 per pound, and the fifth place ham for $18 per pound.
