R. at Goderioh tri' connection with the work on the() P.R., spent Sunday at his home in town. J. Treleaven, who has for a number of years been Treasurer of the Township of Ashfield intends moving to Wingham in the near future. —Mr R. Mackenzie, whose parents live at Lochalsh, near Luoknow, was drowned at Winnipeg on Sunday even- ing. The remains will be brought home for interment. —Tho dentists of Wingham will con- tinue the custom es'ablished a few years ago, and close their offices every Wed- nesday afternoon during the months of June, July and August. —Mr Geo.
