spent Sunday at his home in town.
Mr E Nash left on Tuesday for Win-
nipeg where he will attend the Domin-
ion Convention of the Brotherhood of
St. Andrew, as a delegate from St.
Paul's Church.

—Mr. W. J. Treleaven, who has for a
number of years been Treasurer of the
Township of Ashfield intends moving to
Wingham in the near future.
—Mr R. Mackenzie, whose parents
live at Lochalsh, near Luoknow, was
drowned at Winnipeg on Sunday even-
ing. The remains will be brought home
for interment.
—Tho dentists of Wingham will con-
tinue the custom es'ablished a few years
ago, and close their offices every Wed-
nesday afternoon during the months of
June, July and August.
—Mr Geo. II. David, recently appoint-
ed section foreman at the
Junction has
been appointed to a position in the G.
T. R. yards at London and has moved
his family to that city.
—The horses attached. VS The Wing -
ham bus ran away from the G. T, R.
'Modem on Monday evening. ,,The horses
travelled down the gravel road to be-
yond Belgrave before being stopped.

that the operation performed on Dr. A.

for a number of years been on the
Wingham section of the C. P. R, has
been promoted to the position of reliev-
ing section foreman at Guelph, Mr.
N'etterfield should fill his position well
and we wish him every success.

The 33rd Huron Regiment will go to
camp at Carline Heights, London, from
June 4th to 15th. Members of No. 2
Company, Wingham, will report at
armory ready for camp on Tuesday
morning, Jane 4th. Egaipment can be
