Entertainment for the occasion was "The Black Sheep" which is part of the Ladies Barbershop choir of Seaforth. Some of the "Harmony Kings" were also present and their skits and songs were very entertaining. The M.C. for The even- ing was Murray Ross and he also led in a sing song which was : enjoyed by all. The Branch's thanks go out to Gwen Har- burn and her committee for a job well done. This Saturday is the Branch's Stag golf tournament which will be a shot -gun start at 12:30 pam: Anyone wishing to play please' get in touch with sports chairman Linda right away. Linda says there is also a mixed scramble on July 15th. . LEGION NEWS by Gordon Scott Drumhead Service on July 1. The Parade will' form up at the Legion and move off at approximately 1:30 p.m. Parade will move off up main street to no. 8 highway and march down Victoria Street to Vic- toria Park where a Drumhead service will be conducted at the Cenotaph at 2 p.m. A donation to the building fund of the local hospital will also take place in the afternoon. Following this a band con- cert is being planned by the bands in attendance, rte. Family Services received $500 for four children to go to camp, $300 went to the lawn bowling club for the Legion bowling invitation and $100 to the District for aid of the Videotaping of school children this September. A donation to the Hospital Building fund of $5,000 was also approved to be presented at the Drumhead service. Vanastra Sports cen- tre also received a donation of $250. Karen Vanden Hengel and Mrs. Vincent, Sherry Lyn Hugill and Mrs. Vincent, Julianne and Kathleen Ryan, Lindsay Devereaux and Julie Agar, Susan and Mary Lou Stewart, Lisa Henderson and Janice McIntosh and Kate and Jane Papple. A special feature was a vocal solo by Lindsay Devereaux accompanied by Mrs. Vincent, and a violin solo by Kate Pappie accompanied by her sister, Jane.
