The second meeting of Let's iiandscape
was .held Saturday, June 3'atthe pleader's
home, :Sharon Blake.
Members opened with the •441 .pledge
and minutes of the previous week were
read by :he secretary. Then members
went outside and had to draw 'a draft of
the side of the house. 'They ;were told not
to plant trees too close to the :side of a
:building. Mien they went :back into the
house and talked .about -the landscaping,
and told -what was wrong with it. For -the
:home :project they were to put the draft
they made of the side of the house in the
record :book.
The third meeting everyone met at the
assistant leader's home, Joyce Marcuccio
on Saturday morning, June 10, opening
with the 1441 pledge. First they went over
their -home :assignment. They voted to
name the club 'the Walton T "Land Lub-
bers". Then they left by car on a trip to
Bricknian's Nursery near Sebringville.
Members first looked at the different
deciduous and evergreen trees, then tried
to 'name 1 all the plants. -Questions` were
filled in on a special sheet. Before they
'returned home they enjoyed looking at
-.the animals there too.
The fourth meeting was held on Satur-.
day "morn* at the home of Joyce Mar-
cuceio. After the business, the members
talked about different containers for
trees, planting time, and the proper way
to plant a'tree. Then they planted several
