GLENDA LOULSE WATSON - Asblea and
Curtis Watson of 'Mississauga are proud to
announce that their mother, the former
Glenda Louise Workman of Clinton, has
graduated from .the RNA program of
Sheridan College (School of Health
Sciences) at the June Convocation in
Oakville.
BEVERLY JOANNE BEUERMANN,
daughter of Roy and Joan Beuermann of RR
1 Dublin, graduated recently from the
University of Guelph. Convocation
ceremonies were held on Wednesday, May
31, 1989, and Beverly obtained her "Honours
Bachelor of Arts" degree, double majoring
in Psychology and Sociology/Anthropology.
She is a former graduate of the Walton and
Seaforth Public Schools and the Seaforth
District High School.
DWAIN GARRY OSBORN, son 'of Garry
and Barb Osborn of Seaforth, graduated on
June 16, 1989 from Centennial College of Ap-
plied Arts and Technology in Toronto.
Dwain received his two year diploma in
General Business -Marketing. He is a former
graduate of the Seaforth Public School and
the Seaforth District High School. Dwain
has accepted a position as a sales represen-
tative with Emerson Electril Skil Power
Tool Division in Markham.

and Gladys Haney of RR 4 Seaforth,
graduated June 8, 1989 on the Dean's Honor
List at the Spring Convocation, University
of Toronto, with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Physical' Therapy. June attended
Huron Centennial School, Brucefield and
Seaforth District High School. She has ac-
cepted a position at Huntsville District
Memorial Hospital, Huntsville.
JOThT CHIJRCH SERVICES
During the months of July and August, Nor-
thside United Church and First Presbyterian
Church, Seaforth will again be conducting
joint services. Northside United will be hav-
ing services at eleven o'clock a.m. in their
horse church in July and First Church is
responsible for Services in August at the hour
of eleven fifteen o'clock.
A nursery is in operation. Holidayers and all
others are welcome.
JIM CAMPBE11 , son of G. Arnold and
Margaret Campbell of RR 5 Seaforth,
graduated recently from Ridgetown College
of Agriculture Technology. Jim received his
diploma in Agriculture Production Manage-
ment, with a Field Crop Major.
BARRY CHARLES CAMPBELL, son of
Charles and Peg Campbell of Seaforth,
graduated May 26, 1989 from McMaster
University. in Hamilton. Barry received his
Bachelor of Business and Commerce and is
presently employed with the Toronto Domi-
nion Bank in Kitchener. Barry is a graduate
of the Seaforth District High School.

Mrs..Don O'Rourke was hostess for the
June Women's Institute meeting, with 17
answering the roll call "Where I cast my
first vote".
Mrs. Gordon MacKenzie was in charge
of the .program and introduced guest Ken
Cardno, who spoke on Crime Stoppers.
He stated a.police officer from New Mex-
ico had started to work on a Crime Stop-
pers program in 1970 when he felt
something should be done about crime.
There are 15 .members on the Huron
County board of directors and they .go out
to school and ,groups of all ,kinds and
sizes to speak and ,promote their wor-
thwhile work. Mrs. Pile thanked him ,and
gave -him a donation for Crime :Stoppers.
Mrs. MacKenzie gave The motto, "The
hand that rocks the cradle rules the
world". She also ,gave .several readings
and talked on caring for children.
Clarissa:Stewart reported on the program
and noted the July meeting was cancell-
ed. Thelma Dale gave a reading followed
by lunch.

pressed by the many projects through
which Scouts rendered service to others
and helped to improve the natural en-
vironment, and he felt that such acts
should be . specially recognized.
