STEVEN JOHN .BAAN, son of John and
Mary Baan of RR 3 Walton, graduated
recently from Ridgetown College of
Agriculture Technology. Steve received his
diploma in Agriculture Production Manage-
ment with a Field Crop Major and is
presently employed on'.the family farm.
ANNE RITA RYAN, daughter of Ken and
Carol Ryan of RR 1 Dublin, graduated from
the University of Waterloo on May 25, 1989,
with her Bachelor of Arts degree in General
Social Development Studies. She also
received a certificate in social work from
Renison College. Anne attended St. Colum -
.ban Separate School and the Seaforth
District High School.
LUCILLE DELANEY, daughter of Joe and
Mary Ellen Delaney of Dublin, graduated
June 7, 1989 on the Dean's Honor List, from
the University of Western Ontario in Lon-
don, with her Bachelor of Music, Honors
Music Education. Lucille will be attending
the Faculty of Education at UWO in the -fall.

June Ball of•Seaforth, graduated from York
University on June 10, 1989 with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in English. She is currently
enrolled at Brock University in the
Teaching English as a Second Language

DAVID RIMER, son of Gord and Jane
Rimmer of Seaforth, graduated on June 10,
1989 from Conestoga College in Kitchener, in
Business Administration (Marketing). He
was the recipient of the Rev, Al Logan
Memorial Award. David has accepted a
position with Domtar in Mississauga.
RALPH MILTON, father of Paul.and Marc,
and husband of Anne ( nee Stewart ).
graduated on June 9, 1989 from the Universi-
ty of Western Ontario. London, with a
Masters of Education degree. Ralph is
presently employed with the Perth County
Board of Education as a French Consultant.
This summer he will be teaching at Althouse
College, University of Western Ontario.
MARK CLARENCE RYAN, son of Clarence
and Cecilia Ryan of St. Columban graduated
at the Spring Convocation of the University
of Western Ontario in London, on June 8,
1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree, ma-
joring in Biology. Mark received his earlier
education at St. Columban Separate School
and Seaforth District High School. He is
presently employed at th+ Royal Bank in
London.

A potldek supper was held at the home
of Nancy Larone preceding the St.
Thomas' Anglican . Church Women
.Meeting, chaired by Barb Palin. Devo-
tions were read by Helen Southgate and
roll call was answered by 15 members. A
letter .was' read from the women of the
Catholic Women's League in St, Colum -
ban inviting the ACW to a social evening
on Wednesday, June 14 in the St. Colum
ban Catholic Church basement.
Barb Patin has .been asked to, check in-
to .pins for ACW members with the
churn suppliers in Toronto. .Mystery
PriZei, winner was Mary Rowcliffe.
Designated chairperson for the month of
September is Lois Scions, that meeting to
be .held at the •Parish Hall on Tuesday,
,September 5 1989. A .Silent Auction will
be held:at the September meeting priced
at $2 or under, and gift "wrapped. This
meeting will also be a potluck supper
,with ;devotions by .Sandra Lee, and the
Penny Person Dorothy Hays. Tentative
.names were :given .for chairing ,the ACW
meetings in the coming year, .October,
.Shirley Dinsmore; November, Sharon
Millard; December, Barb Palin; January,
Audrey McLean; February, Helen
.Southgate; March, Dorothy Hays; April,
Grace Cornish; May, Frances Teatero;
and June, Sandra Lee. Alternate
Chairpersons are Nancy Larone, Vivienne
Newnham and Peg Coombs.
'The ACW recently purchased shrubs for
:landscaping around St. Thomas Church.
A motion was also made to pay for the
,prizes for the Church Picnic. The
Christmas Bazaar date was set for Satur-
day, November 18, 1989.
The Choir Mistress has asked that the
choir members .be -informed that choir
(practice will resume on ,September 13,
1989. Also that .the choir as a group is
£planning a .beef dinner for .,the ,fall, ,and
more ,details Will ,follow on this event.

. Rector Greg Gilson expressed his
"Thanks" to all the people for their help
with the yard sale and for the clean-up
and the scraping and painting of the
church. He also asked that support be
given to the new Superintendent of the
Sunday School- and Nursery School, Joan
Spittal, for any further information please
call Joan.
He extended to the Board members a
healthy and enjoyable summer and hoped
to see all back in the fall. A tentative
date for the next Board Meeting is
September 7.
We wish Corris Snowden a speedy
recovery and hope she will be soon feel-
ing better.
