The bride is -the daughter of Ken and Lois Moore of RR 2 Seaforth ad the groom is the son of Terry and Alic Short of Seaforth and Barry and Timmy Menary ofR:R 2 Kippen. Maid of honor was Marl jo Kale of Seaforth, friend of the bride, and bridesmaids were Rosie Flanagan of London, friend of the bride and Angie Menary of, RR 2 Kippen, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Jen- nifer and Amanda Short of Seaforth, both sisters of the groom. Best man was Paul Menary of Seaforth, brother of the groom and guests were ushered by Rob Core of London, friend of the groom and Barry Moore of Toronto, brother of the bride. Organist was Margaret Whitmore of RR 4 Walton and a duet was sung by Lori Strong of London and Lisa Strong of Egmondville. 'She is 'survived by her busband, John Robert Cross; one son, 'R. 'Keith Cross of Etobicbke; -and one sister Helen Dallas of Clinton. Also surviving are -grandchildren, Robert John Cross and Lisa Ann Wood. Mrs. Cross was predeceased by two brothers, Clare Way and Casey Way; and two sisters, Ida Jackson and Evelyn Shera. Millard George Funeral Home, Ridout'StreetSouth, London, and a funeral service will be con- ducted in the chapel today, Wednesday, June 7, 1989 at 1 p.m. The Reverend Michael C,H. ELIZABETH BROWN Elizabeth Brown of Seaforth, died Sun- day, June 4, 1989 at Huronview in Clinton. She, was 87. The former Elizabeth Kruse, she is sur- vived by daughters, Bernice (Mrs. Ken Chambers) of Blyth, Jacqueline (Mrs. Doug Raeho) of Dublin, Helen Ann (Mrs. Earl Elliott) of Dublin, Margaret (Mrs. Rolly Vanstone) of Hensel] and Linda (Mrs. Alymer James) of Wingham; and sons, James E. and William C., both of Egmondville. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by three sisters, .Annie Oldfield, Winnie Knott and Mabel Newbower; one brother Harry; and three grandsons. Friends will be received at the Whitney- Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth until 3 p.m. today (Wednesday) when funeral services will be held at the funeral home. Interment Egmondville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Brown Jr., Bill Brown Jr., John Raeho, Rick Elliott, Joseph Vanstone, Ronnie James, Bill H. Brown, and Brad Borland. Flower bearers were Dennis Chambers, Donnie Brown, Steven Eckert Jr., Douglas Higgins, Gary Vanstone, Sharon Brown, Dean Glanville and Debbie Carter. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Seaforth Community Hospital Building Fund. GRACE BERYL CRICH Grace Beryl Crich died Friday, March 31, 1989 at the Carberry Personal Care Home in Manitoba. She was 97. Born November 4, 1890 in Seaforth, she was the youngest daughter of the late John Crichand Agnes Grant. Grace went west to make 'her home With 'her ^brother'Cliester after her mother died, and they settled in Carberry in 1917. They operated the Carberry Bakery until Grace retired in 1961. Grace was a member of the Carberry United Church, sang in the choir for 25 years, and was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary which later became the UCW. In 1956 she became a chartered member of the Carberry Eastern Star Lodge and a Worthy Matron. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including John Crich of Seaforth. Funeral services were held from Carberry United Church on April 3, with the Reverend Stewart Anderson officiating. In- terment was in the family plot in Carberry Plains Cemetery. JOHN MERO John Mero of London and formerly of Seafort'h, died Thursday, June I, 1989 at Vic- toria Hospital in London. He was 74. Born at Goderich on May 7, 1914, Mr. Mero was a veteran of the Second World War. ''lie is survived by three sons, Harry of 'Seaforth, John of KiPPen and Dave of Seaforth; one daughter, 'Theresa King of British Columbia; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. .Mr. Mero was predeceased by his wife, the butter Dorothy Woolley; two sons, Vern and Joe; three brothers; and.eight sisters. ;Friends were received at :the .Whitney- •Ribey Funeral Home in Seaforth :find a ser- vice was held on Monday at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in St. James -Cemetery. Pallbearers were Warden Haney, Con Eckert, Jim Watson, Al Nicholson, Joe Lane ,and Jim Nash Sr. The Royal Canadian Legion held a service Sunday .at the funeral home. JOSEPH -RYAN Joseph L. ,Ryan of the Hillside Nursing Home at RR 5 ,Stratford, and formerly of McKillop Township, St. Columban and Kit- chener, 'died Friday, June 2, 1989 at his residence. He ,was 79.
