The event, co-sponsored by staff of the hospital's Physiotherapy and Pharmacy departments, raised in excess of $3,500 for the hospital expansion. On Saturday Mrs. Gladys Wright and son Douglas called at the Watt Funeral Home in Brussels to pay their respects to the late Mrs. Secord (Marg) McBrien who passed away at the Callander Nurs- ing Home on Thursday. The funeral was Saturday, May 27 at 2 pm. On Saturday, May 27 Mrs. Gladys Wright and son Douglas were in Hanover, attending a birthday party in honor of Janet Schneider, who celebrated her. 70th birthday. Her son Darrell and daughter- in-law Lynda and grandchildren put on a surprise dinner and dance for their mother's birthday, On Saturday evening Norma Steele was hostess to her„ niece, Linda Leeming, bride -elect, and to Mrs. Ken Daum, and to Mrs. L.
