CARMEL PRE.SSBYTERIIAN CHURCH
The April 23rd worship service at Carmel
Presbyterian. Church was devoted to the
theme that "love is the way to give glory to
God." In the 13th chapter of John's Gospel
Jesus described how love could occur, how
the disciples were to show that love to one
another, thereby continuing to obey Jesus
after his departure.
The members and friends of Carmel were
also pleased to note that Kathy and Rev.
Mark are now the proud parents of a baby
boy. Oliver Thomas Bennett was born on
Monday, April 17.
The April 30 worship service will be con-
ducted by. Rev. Charles Henderson at the
usual time of 9:45 a.m. It is hoped that all
who can will attend the 11:15 a.m. service at
Caven Presbyterian, Exeter, to celebrate
the baptism of Oiiver Gaskin.
Also that evening the Torchmen will be in
concert at the Carmel Church (83 Nelson
Street, Hensall). Tickets are still available
at the door for this entertaining evening of
gospel music.
