Block Parent
from page 1
Mrs. Feguson says anyone can become a
block parent. She says you don't have to let
kids into your house to use the washroom, or
do first aid on injured people. You just have
to be there for support. "It's important
there be a feeling of community and just
knowing there is a support system in place
for kids."
Mrs. Ferguson asks "If you want to be a
Block Parent and show that you care, pick
up a registration form (at one of the above
mentioned locations) and hand it in to the
Police Department, or call and let us know
that you have already been signed up as a
block parent."
