A letter was read at :the meeting in regards to Sisterhood Night -which is to be held on'Thursday,,April'20,.at 710 p.m..at the-Seaforth-Public School .Auditorium. Ad- mission is 1 $1. All the women in 'the com- munity.are cordially invited to attend this function. Final plans were made for Me Spaghetti Supper. 'The Mystery'Prize was won by Lois Scoins. The next -meeting of the A.C.W. will take place at the home of Peg Coombs in Egmondville on Tuesday, May 2. Chairper- somwill be Sandra Lee. Chancel duty forthe month' of April is Elsie Dinsmore and Peg Perkins and for the month of May - Grace Cornish and Joan Spittal. The Annual Spaghetti Supper was held on April 7, with a good turnout from the com- munity. Thanks to all 'the helpers who prepared the delicious sauce and worked so hard towards this event. The Board Meeting was held in the Vestry on April 13 and Rector.Greg Gilson read the Gospel and led in prayer. A report was given on the Sunday School and an alternative cur- riculum is being looked into by the Rector. The telephone calling list has been com- pleted by Paul Spittal and a survey will be done some time this month regarding ser- vice time. A joint meeting is to take place on May 4 between the parishes of Clinton and Seaforth on fund-raising. St. Thomas representatives are Susan Halfpenny and Don Millard. The Choir is organizing a Yard Sale to be held on Saturday, May 20 to commence at 7 a.m. - a Pie Sale is going to be held and food ®110 ANGLICAN -CHURCH :by Frances 'i'eatero5223979 will he available, specially 'prepared by Chefs -Bob Dinsmore and -Bob Palin. Anyone with any -articles they wouldlike todonate to this, please call Nancy Larone or any other members in the choir. Bill Southgate has been asked by the Board to obtain some estimates on painting some portions of the- church. However, anyone wishing to 'help paint the church, please contact Don Millard at 527-0174. Also the annual Yard Clean-up is hoped to be done at the beginning of May and 'GRADUATES volunteers are needed. Oneezagain those In- terested can contact Don Millard. Also'need- ed are paintbrushes, rakes, Shovels, work gloves, •and.armsrand legs and strong backs to go with these articles. The Rector gave his report - Rev. Gilson will be away on Sunday, May 14, and Rev. George Youmatoff is to he asked to take the services. Greg' has also volunte 3red to make the candleholder for the Paschal Candle which is to''bepurchased. The Little Helpers Font Roll has been completed and will be hung back in the church. Some of the St. Thomas parishioners have been ill and hospitalized, Shirley Dinsmore, Elsie Southgate, Carrie McGavin and Terry Johnston, are all wished a speedy return to good health. The bride is the daughter of Matthew and Mar- tha Claessens of St. Columban, while the groom is the son of Mrs. John VanBerkel and the late John Berkvens of London. Mary Riegel, sister of the groom, was the maid of honour and the bridesmaids were Sandra Claessens, sister of the bride; Pat Berkvens, sister of the groom; and Janice Craik, friend of the bride. Jim Kelly, brother-in-law of the groom, was the best man and the ushers were Jeff Berkvens, brother of the groom, and Paul McKinly and Charlie Arnott, friends of the groom.
