"Because of that, the board has given me counsel that we stress the positive ends of the transfers. What you have suggested, I don't think would be positive and I would like to stress that you suggested it " As far as Mr. Shaw is concerned there has never been any conflict with his two jobs "1 don't take time from one job to do the other or at the expense of the other. As far as 1 know unless somebody is not telling; me something it is not a concern of the board " he said. One thing that did concern Mr Jewitt was the students who fought to keep their principals. Especially the students of CHSS who bought a, full page ad in the March 29 edition of the Clinton News - Record "The students deserve a lot of credit The) were doing what they believe in," said Mr. Jewitt "I don't know what it cost to run a full page ad, but I'm sorry to see the money spent because there are people that knew the decision was final " "The students were getting some guidance that they shouldn't have been getting. They were misled a bit. That's all I'll say" Mr. Wooden preferred not to comment on the matter, but did say. "I feel a great deal of gratitude toward the entire school and its community. The issue appears to. be closed.'' STORYTELLER.
