For Parr Line SueAnne Van Miltenburg slapped the ball down and directly into the net off a great pass from Barb Pepper. Queens' player Barb Caldwell dug and dug and finally achieved her goal. The quick wrist of by Cheryl Kruse found its way in- to thea rr Line net through the goalie's feet. T assist came from Donna Arts. It was a superb game to watch. . OP'2 — PARR LINE 1 A double header for Parr Line and they lost the second game also. A lone goal by SueAnne Van Miltenbure put Parr Line on the scoreboard, She was assisted by Estella Wilson. For Winthrop Susan Hulley wound up and blasted the ball past the opposing goalie off a dynamite pass from Donna Arts. As the game went into overtime, Deb Murray scur- ried for the ball, broke for the net, shot and scored. What a dramatic goal with no help needed. . COMMERCIAL 8 — JR. FARMERS 1 The Jr. Farmers' spirits were high but their goals were low. For the Commercial, Linda Boyd received a hat trick thanks to keen passive from Audrey Schenk and Heather Mcllwraith. A sharp eye by defencetnan Anne Marie Maloney allowed her to get two goals. By her side was Maureen Flanagan, Tanury Nash also got two goals. Calana McClure also snuck in with a goal, assisted by Darlene Rolph. MARCH30 JR. FARMERS 0 — PERTH 1 The Jr. Farmers were no slouches this game as Perth Ladies' Kathy McPhail squeezed in a lone goal' off a neat pass by Lisa Duffy. A great game by both teams. Fitness program set to start FITNESS IS FUN by Drusilla Leitch will begin, again at the first of next, month. Drusilla is back from the south, and ready to begin making you fit. once again The session is suitable for beginners, older adults or anyone wishing to trim up and will begot on Tuesday, May 2 at 8:30 a.m. at the Seaforth and District Communi- ty Centres. This session will be held twice a week, with the other day being on Thursday May 4 at 8:30 a.m. Registration fee will be $35 for twice a week, for 10 weeks. You can register on the first morning of class. Fitness will also be held on Wednesday evening from 8 to 9 p.m. starting on Wednes-. clay, May 3 at the Seaforth and District Com- munity Centres. Seaforth and District Hockey fans were Orioles lengthen- first place lead BY GEORGE LOVE The Orioles lengthened their first place lead to 220 pins over the second place Falcons, in St. James Bowling League Playoffs on Monday, April 3. The Orioles bowled games of 954, 1056, 973 - 2983, led by Jack Ryan 201, 225, 211 - 637; Johana Good- man 200, 200, 218 - 618; Reg Chappel 222 - 607; and Gerry Armstrong 242 - 549. The Falcons recorded scores of 959, 911, 962 - 2832 with top games by Murray Ben- newies 270, 238, 253 - 761 and Brian Love 204 - 572. The Blue Jays jumped into third place with games of 883, 1065, 1019 - 2967 led by Connie Marion 277, 205 - 639; Jun Dalrymple 209, 249 - 638, Karen Hoegy 248 - 581; and Ken Moran 204. 204 - 575.
