HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Huron Expositor, 1989-03-29, Page 19OBITUARIES MARY GRAPPLE Mary Margaret Irene Chapple of Seaforth, died at Westminster Hospital in London on Sunday, March 26, 1989. She was 68. Born in Blyth on August 17, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Wes. Kechnie and the former Jean Tunney. In 1939 she mar- ried Fred Chapple, who predeceased her in 1972. Mary was a very active and interested member of her community and was always ready to lend help and support to her fellow citizens. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Cana- dian Legion, Seaforth branch, a member of the Seaforth Horticultural Society, and a volunteer for the Seaforth Manor, and for Meals on Wheels and the Homebound. She is survived by one son, Henry Wayne and his wife Betty of Nepean; and by one daughter, Julie Ann and her husband Jerome Felix of London. Also surviving are a brother Frank Kechnie and his wife Alma of London; five grandchildren, Todd and Tim Felix of Lon- don, Karen and Trevor Chapple of Nepean, and Kim Powers (wife of Jerry) of Colum- bus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a large number of friends.
