According to the annual reports of the bureau of Industries for Ontario for 1905, which is just to hand, we learn that the market value of farm crops in Ontario for the five years 1901.05 was greater than that for the five years 1896-1900 by fully $160,000,000. On Monday evening, April 8th, the death of an old and, highly esteemed resident occurred in the person of Mrs. Wm Morrison who passed away at the family residence, Broadway,Kincardine, at the ripe age of 75 years and three months. She calcu- lates that during her lifetime she has con- sumed: fish, 4,784; loaves of bread, 11,- 969; potatoes, 50,730; cabbages, 19,136;,. cups of tea, 134,820; glasses of milk, 67,- 160, glasses of water, 33,580. The wi- dow also states in her dairy that she has walked 221,480 miles. The now wrink- led face has been washed 67,000 times, and her hands 123,424 times.
