THE SDHS CURLING TEAM consisting of Paul DoImage, Brad Millson, Pete Ste.
Marie, coach Don Renshaw and missing Andy Ball won the silver at the Western On-
tario Secondary School Association championships. The team was the Huron County
charifpion this year, and placed second in Huron -Perth last week to earn a spot among
the eight teams competing at WOSSA. On their first day of competition they beat
Oakridge and Woodstock, but lost to Glencoe, Oh the second day they beat Sarnia
Northern and Glencoe, but lost their third game to Sarnia Northern and finished second -
in the tourney. It is important to note that the team was competing against all the
schools in WOSSA and not in a division based on school population. The Sarnia Nor-
thern team comes from a school with an enrollment of 1400. This is only the second
time a SDHS team has placed in the medals at WOSSA when the large schools were
involved in competition. Corbett photo.

net, with help from Heidi Elliott. Bev Shea
achieved two goals and assisting her were
