On Saturday February 25 the Seaforth Jr.

unassisted. Minutes later Cheryl McLlwain
scored again'asststed by Tracy Bisback and

Atoms tie London
in exhibition hockey
The Atoms played an exhibition game on
Sunday in Hensall against the London
Devils.
The Devils were the first on the
scoreboard but the Seaforth squad were on-
ly two minutes later tying the score.
However by the end of the first both teams
had netted one more goal to even the score
2-2.
The second period saw lots of action when
each team netted two more goals.
The Seaforth squad started the scoring in
the third, but it was only one minute later
when the Devils came back with two more
quick goals. The Seaforth boys hadn't given
up yet because it wasn't long until they
scored the tying goal and the go ahead goal.
The boys managed to hold their lead until
the last 18 seconds of the game when London
tied the game 7 to 7.
Seaforth is still waiting to start their next
round of Ontario Playdowns. Apparently the
New Hamburg and Elora series was to be
completed by February 26, so the boys
should be starting their next series this
week. Good Luck!
EDDY NIELSEN
Eddy's hockey past differs from many of
the Seahewks. Prior to this season he
hadn't played competitively in six or seven
years, elnce he told for the Seatorth
midgets, the only travelling team he ever
played for. But make no mistake, Eddy's
a gamer, a talented athlete who likes to
compete, and more than holds his own on
right wing.
