'Me•Walton Women's Institute sponsored
a dessert euchre in the hall Wednesday
evening. The hall was tastefully decorated
in the Valentine theme. After enjoying the
many desserts downstairs, euchre was
played upstairs.
Although the crowd wasn't very large,
with only five tables of moire in play.
everyone seemed to have a good time with
many prizes given out at the close of the ten
game.

chell; low - Mary Humphries; high man -
John Hesselwood; low - Jean Ireland (play-
ing as a man I. Lucky -table - Viola Kirkby
Muriel Whitfield; Jean Scouller, and
Wilfred Shortreed. Traveling prize holding
the queen of hearts - Jean Bewley. Several
had to cut for the lone hand prize with first
going to Roberta Simpson; second Lavern
Godkin. Woman with most No. 2 on their
card - Gloria Love, for the men - Mel
Jacklin. woman coming the farthest - Vera
Hesselwood. Man that kissed his wife that
day - Emmerson Mitchell
SPORTS CLUB
Wednesday evening the Walton Area
Sports Club held their February meeting in
the library In the business it was decided

The*Iensall Kinettes are holding their An-
nual Suitcase Dance on -Thursday, March 23
from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Entertainment will be
provided' by the band "Smokey Hollow". A
draw will be made for a weekend in Las
Vegas, plus 8200 U.S. in cash

The Egmondville United Church Women
held their annual Dessert . Euchre' and
Crokinole party on February 6 with 12 tables
of Euchre and one table of Crolanole played
Winners for Euchre were: High ladies •

travelling lone hand. High Man: Harold Col-
eman. Low ladies: Cheryl -Ann Stadelbauer-

Walton unit meeting was cancelled last
Wednesday evening due to the weather. It is
re -scheduled for this Wednesday night at the
church.
Communion was held on Sunday at Duff's
United Church, next Sunday the Walton
Public Choir will attend at the morning ser-
vice. The Institute Pork Luncheon is this
Wednesday at 11':30 a.m.
