from theresults. Thank you to Anne Downey

Tuesday afternoon, two tables of euchre

from the tables, it sounded like some good
time rivalry was taking place.
bingo. They are always right ready to call if
residents have a bingo.
Wednesday morning Rev. Snihur con-
ducted the ministerial service for the
residents. We appreciated Rev. Snihur be
ing able to come to Maplewood on such short
notice to fill in. It was especially kind of him
to stay for lunch with his parishioner Elsie
Shaddick.
Wednesday afternoon Pete Tremeer and
Ed Andrews were off to the Starlight Bowl-
ing Lanes. They said the game was still just
as much fun but they had a bit more practic-

On Thursday morning two students from
Mrs. Hoelscher's class at Seaforth Public
School came to Maplewood to visit with
residents. One of the students helped finish

visiting with Pete Tremeer and Edgar
Allan. The other student tried her expertise
at checkers with Esther Thompson.
Friday morning Gail Hills and Janet Pap-

Bat the balloon
Seaforth Manor's week started off with an
invigorating game of Bat the Balloon at Faun

seems to find that the game itself is as good
a workout as the exercise routine we do. In
the afternoon residents found the movie, "18
Again" with George Burns quite amusing
'Several of the Grade 6 students from
Seaforth Public School joined residents
again on Tuesday morning. Several of the
residents enjoyed having the children read
to them.
