The demonstration by all these players
was outstanding to watch as it was the
cleanest and most impressive game I've
seen in a long time.
WINTHROP-3 ROYALS -1
From his knees Jim MacDonald tipped
the ball into the top corner. You can depend
on Fred McClure and Ross Mitchell for sup-
port. Waiting for the right past Dave
Leonhardt slapped the ball directly into the
net. Good pass from a new recruit Keith
Williamson. Sliding on by Brian Pryce tips
ball into the net after great team work by
Bill Shortreed. The Royals only goal was by
Pete Klaven on a timely pass by Kelly
O'Leary.
DUMPERS -1 PARR LINE -0
Colin Young scored, a little help came
from Rick Archambault and Murray
Houston. The Parr Line men actually had
plenty off opportunities to score but could not
capitalize on them.
GRADS -2 RED RUSTLERS -0
A scramble in front resulted in Dana Bean
retrieving the ball and popping it into the
net, with a little assistance from Robert
Wydeven. "BOOM" Gary Dill driled the
ball under the goalie's leg, great pass by
Craig Kerslake. Red Rustlers were running
all over, but never hit the ball towards the
net. '
RIVER RATS -0 RAIDERS -1
What could possibly happen with only 28
seconds remaining in the game? Yes! You
guessed it, Tony Arts was left unnoticed by
himself. He shot and scored as the ball
travelled between the goalie's feet. The
River Rats had most of the play all night but
could not direct the ball into the net. Next
time guys.
