ASSEMBLY
On Tuesday. December -.
the band and choir of CHSS
came to Hullett Central to
entertain us with their music.
They sang and played popu•
lar music as well' as Christ
mas music. Everyone enjoy•
,with the Hg, Ho,l o being
added from atothercountry.
Regardless of how pie
modern scenes were arrived
at the main theme is still in
evidence, is still original and
goes back much farther than
Christmas. That theme is
togetherness and love one
another tyegardless of race or
religion.
Every so often we run
across Christmas stories from
the past, of people celebrat-
ing Christmas under -di's':
astrous conditions, such as
marooned travellers, strand-
ed motorists and downed
planes in isolated places.
Then there is 'also '1116."''''
stories of Christmas's cele-
brated in concentration
camps in war torn countries.
They all come up with the
same joy and remembrance's
of togetherness.
At this thankful time \of
year may we think of those
who are less privileged than
ourselves regardless of where
we stand in the scaleof 1 to
ten.
Merry Christmas
And May God Bless
