LITTLE—DALE
John R. Little of Clinton and Sandra L. Dale of Goderich
were wed November 12 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
Witnesses in Goderich. Walter Gardiner officiated at• the
double -ring ceremony and Diane Herlufsen played a
'selection of music on the piano for the occasion. The bride is
the daughter of Norman and Dianne Dale of Goderich and
the groom is the son of Marie Colclough of Clinton. Maid of
honour was Joyce Barfoot of Goderich. Bridesmaid was
Lorri Anne Dale of Goderich. Groomsmen were Wayne Zinn
and Michael Dale, both of Goderich. Guests were ushered
by Danny Dale and David McKee, both of Goderich.
Following the wedding ceremony. a reception was held at
Saltford Valley Hall. Following a wedding trip to Niagara
Falls, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Little took up residence in
Clinton.

The Seaforth Women's In-
stitute met at Seaforth Public
School with a large attend-
ance of members and fami-
lies. A pot luck dinner was
enjoyed.
Mrs. Ross Gordon opened
the meeting with a Christmas
poem. A letter from Santa
Claus parade chairman Irwin
Johnston appreciating the
money donation was read.
Day care made a request.
and money donated.
Christmas boxes were
planned for shut-ins. A short
course in conjunction with the
January meeting, is to be
held at the home of Mrs.
Lorne Lawson.
Mrs. Alec Pepper and Mrs.
Andrew Crozier were in
charge of the Christmas pro-
gram.
Mrs. Pepper read a story
'The Little f oymaker." A

piano solo was given by
Janice Carter. A step dance
was• performed by Tracy
Fortune.
The motto The Christmas
Story was given by Mrs. A.
Crozier. Followed by a
"Christmas Story 1 remem-
ber." Tracy McIntosh gave
two solos. A duet by Kendra
and Jane Papple. A step
dance by Kate .Papple.
We wish you a Merry
Christmas was sung by
Nancy, Susan and Mary Lou
Stewart accompanied by Eliz-
abeth Ann Stewart.
Elizabeth Stewart gave a
glock-en-spiel solo of Christ-
mas melodies.
A short play by a number of
Institute members was enjoy-
ed. Gifts were distributed.
A vote of thanks for the
Christmas party was given by
Sam Scott.

The Seaforth-Dashwood
Community Band entertained
- the residents of Huronview to
a Christmas concert Dec. 12.
They were assisted by the
Bell Ringers from Wingham
and Mrs. Storey's dancers
with Nelson Howe playing the
accompaniment'on violin.
The Dashwood quartette of
band members Hoffman,
Giesler, Stadey and Haist
sang a carol selection.
Geo Cowan of Blyth United
Church conducted the vocal
Christmas carols.
A social half hour for the
band and performers com-
pleted the afternoon. This has
been a feature of the Com-
munity Band since its organi•
zation 10 years ago.
