CECIILIA RYAN 34s-2028 A large crowd attended the annual Father Stephen Eck- ert Council of the Knights of Columbus turkey bingo at the St. Columban hall on Sunday Nov. 28th. Following are the winners of a freshly killed turkey: Mrs. W.D. Wilson (2), Brenda Kenny, Mary Lou Maloney, Matthew Den- omme, Terry Cronin, Darin Beuermann. Mary Moylan, Ray Murray, Pam Nolan, Joe Cronin and Roger O'Brien. The first share -the -wealth was won by Tom Murray, the second by Patrick Moylan and Mrs. Clem Regier, the third by Mrs. James Dever- eaux, the fourth by Denise Rau. Consolation prizes went to Bill Albert, Roy McGoni- gle, Brenda Kenny, Cecilia Ryan, Denise Rau, and Fay Dalrymple. Two door prizes were won by Mrs. Ron Ryan and John Moylan. JOHN TEMPLEMAN 345-2346 Mrs, John Miller presided for the Citizenship and World Affairs meeting of the Staffa Women's Institute, held in the township hall on Wed- nesday evening. Guest speaker was Miss Cathy Norris of Grand Bend, a page at the Ontario Parliament, last year. She gave a very interesting account of her stay in Toronto, Cathy, was introduced by Mrs. John Miller and presented with a gift. Mrs. John Miller gave a report of the fall executive meeting and Mrs. Charles Douglas reported on the London Area Convention. rest of us will have to buy ours. Mrs. John Templeman was named to send a gift and letter to the Weavering Insti- tute in England. The Christ- mas meeting will be held on Dec. 15 beginning with a pot luck dinner at .12:30. Members are reminded of the Secret Pal exchange. the gift for a nursing home and a Christmas recipe and sample for the roll call. Mrs. Norman Harburn and Mrs. Charles Douglas served lunch.
