St. James Roman Catholic Church in Seaforth was the
site on October 9 at 6' p.m, for the wedding ceremony of
Charles Fredrick Crawford of R.R. 3, Goderich and Marion
Elaine Nolan of 48 West Street, Seaforth. The Reverend
Father C.G. Caruana •. officiated at the double ring
ceremony. Organist was Patricia Crowley and soloist was
Casey Van Bakel. The groom is the son of Fred and Mary
Crawford of R.R. 3 Gdderich and the bride is the daughter of
Dennis and Anne Nolan of 48 West Street, Seaforth. Maid
of honour was Jean McLean of London. Groomsman was
Jim Robertson of R.R. 1 Dungannon. Guests were ushered
into the church by Ken McLean of Vanastra and Gerry Riley
of Bayfield. Following the wedding ceremony. a reception
was held at Saltford Valley Hall. The couple took a wedding
trip to Montreal and Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Crawford are now residing at R.R. 3 Goderich.

Ray Douglas McNichol, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
McNichol of RR4, Walton and Linda Marie Matthews,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Matthews of RR3 Auburn
were married Oct. 9 in Nile United Church. The Rev. Robert
Roberts officiated. Jean Elliott of Dungannon was organist
and Lynn Richardson was soloist. The bride's sister, Valerie
Matthews. was maid of honour and bridesmaids were Mrs.
John Hickey of RR3. Goderich, and Lori Matthews. both
sisters of the bride and Margaret Shortreed of RRI, Walton.
Crystal Hickey was flowergirl and Jeromy McNichol,
nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. Ed McClure of RR1.
Walton was groomsman and ushers were Jim McNichol.
the groom's brother. Roger Matthews, RR6, Goderich, the
bride's brother and Dave Reid of London. Following a
reception at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community
Centre, the couple took a wedding trip to Northern Ontario.
They are living at 563 Barber Ave.. N. in Listowel, where
the groom is employed at the Midwestern District Centre
and the bride at the Palmerston and District Hospital.

united in marriage Saturday. November 20 at 4:00 p.m. at
St. James' Anglican Church. RR.1. Clinton. Reverend
Douglas Pitts officiated at the double -ring ceremony. The
bride is the daughter of Dean and Phyllis Aldwinckle of RR I
Varna and the groom is the son of Frances Storey of RRI
Dublin and the late Everett Storey Pam DeGrnot of
Mississauga, a friend of the bride. was the maid of hon
and bridesmaids were Vanda McNeil. sister of the groo
Shirley McClure of Seaforth and Cathy Vitez of 1 nndrn,

was Mary Moffatt. The reception following the ceremony

present from Michigan. Ottawa and the surrounding area
