requires child restraints when riding in cars.
Some mothers resent this law. They prefer
holding their infants in their arms. A lady
who wrote an excellent article on this subject
said "Mothers arms are not the place for
baby." She meant that it was not a safe place
when in a car. In collision or crash infants and
toddlers have been torn from mothers' arms,

of Linda Fischer who passed
away on Nov. 20th, 1981.
From hospital bed to heaven-
ly rest,
God took her home to be His
guest,
We lived in hope, and prayed
in vain,
That she would soon be well
again,
But God decided we must
part,
He eased her pain. but broke
our hearts.
And while she sleeps a
peaceful sleep,
Her memories we shall
always keep,
So please God forgive a silent
tear,
A silent wish that she were
here.

Around here we have hcen complaining
about cold, rain. high winds, the bit of snow
we have had and the threat of early
snowstorms. Compared to residents of
Southern California w c has c little to complain
about. They are bus% cleaning up after the
violent storm they had on Tuesday, Novem-
ber 9. 1t brought several tornadoes, heavy
rain. high winds' and power failures to
200,000 residents of the area hit by the storm.
It played havoc with roofs. fences, sheds,
uprooted hundreds of trees. There were
scores of traffic accidents Homes were
flooded. Compared to that s, hat have we to
complain about as far as weather is
concerned.
