Following the installation "The 23rd Psalm" was pre- sented and Elaine Skinner sang "This Lodge Is Your Lodge" and "Amazing ®®tre Unit 1 of Hensall United Church entertained the resi- dents of Queensway Nursing Horne to Bingo and treats on Monday afternoon. A group of Zurich Mennonite ladies visited the home on Monday evening and Ruth Zielman demonstrated a flower ar- rangement. Rev. C. Kuepfer of Zurich condicted worstfip at the home. Residents enjoyed a bus trip to Stratford on Wednes. day and had lunch at Mac - Donald's. Neil Regan was high bowl- er at the Town and Country Bowling Lanes, Zurich on Friday. Pletch of Mitchell United Church was guest minister at the Hensall United Church on Sunday, October 24th when Rev. Stan- ley McDonald was the guest minister"at Mitchell anniver- sary. Mrs. Elaine tebbins wel- comed worship ers at the front door and L oyd Fergu- son and Alf Ross ushered. The Junior Choir will assist the Senior choir at the service next Sunday. Rev. McDonald was guest minister at Mitchell United Church service on Sunday and was a dinner guest with Grace". D.D.P, Alice spoke to the members and was presented with a gift by Jr. P.N.G. Bertha MacGregor. The Jr. P.N.G. Bertha was presented with a gift by Hazel Corbett, R.S.N.G. Then N.G. of Exeter Audrey Rowe spoke briefly as did several mem- bers and guests commenting the D.D.P. and staff on their duties. At the close of Lodge a luncheon was served from attractively decorated tables in the lower hall. Mrs. R. Mason and son Andrew of London visited recently with the former's parents, Mr, and Mrs, John Skea, • Mr. Donald MacRae of Ottawa and his mother, the former Helen .Cooke spent a few days visiting with Mrs. Albert Shirray at the old Shirray Homestead. Mrs. Anerlinck and daugh- ter Sheryl of London were t (J red Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chaffe, nee Connie Corbett and family. • Mrs, Madeline Harburn underwent eye surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital, London this week. Now we all know the cheerful, portly Bill Dowson (played by Debbie Rathwell) isn't a penfiy-pinching tight- wad, but he did think Joyce (Shirley Hill) was getting carried away with her cheque writing for this wedding. so he challenged her to keep expenses around S200. After working on it for a couple of weeks, she showed him, complete with fashion com- mentary, how she dressed the whole wedding party for 521.95. Mrs. Emerson Anderson. Robinson boar ties A Duroc briar from the farm of Robert Robinson, Walton tied for top honours among the Duroc test station graduates at the Ontario 12.0 P. Swine Test Station. The Robinson Duroc with an index of 130 combined very low backfat thickness of 10.9 mm (.43 inches) and good average daily gain on test of .90 kg (1.98 lbs.)
