Greet- ers were Jack Tamblyn and Harry Snell and ushers were John Cartwright, Larry Gross, Russell Nesbitt and Gary Wilts. The church was decorated. with fall leaves and produce by Explorers and Y.P. Collo Swan welcomed all and ,gave announcements. Flowers on memoriam stand and on piano ';ere in loving memory of Mrs. Lloyd Wal- Kom, Mitchell, mother of • Mrs. Allen Shaddick, placed by her family and flowers from the wedding of Gloria Adams and Alex Westerhout on Saturday. A special thanks to the Snell family for their music. Session and Stewards are to meet at 7:30 p.m. Mon- day,.. Oct. 18 and Official Board at 8 p.m. in the church when Rev. Len Harbour from London Conference will an- swer questions on Unified Board system. All members of the congregation are in- vited to attend. Next Sunday is Anniver- sary Sunday with morning worship at 11 a.m. by Colin Swan and evening 7:30 p.m. by Murray Gaunt. Correspondence in- cluded a Thank You from Audrey and Bob Thompson an invitation to the Fall Rally in Goderich, Fri., Oct. 8. A bus tour to Simcoe lights in November was discussed. Meetings will be the last Wednesday of each month, to conserve heat as hall is used on Wed., evenings for other activities. Spending three weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Jack McDoug- all were his sister Jessie Catalano from Boise Idaho and his niece Jean Giordano, Toronto. Mrs. Margaret Taylor and Mrs. Don Buchanan attend- ed the Huron County W.l. rally at Grand Bend, Mon- day, October 4. Mrs. ' Beth Knox spent Thanksgiving Sunday with her daughter Cindy Swan and boys in London. ' Mr. and M -s. Ted Fother- gill, Nancy And Heather attended the Bendor-Brisbon wedding at Zion United Church at Gowanstown. The service was' conducted by Rev. Cecil"Wittich.
