On forward. the young line

perfectly executed passing

and several shots on goal. In
front of the net the Cente-

both the Tavistock goaltender
and defencen:en in the slot
area. The pressure helped
Seaforth score two more goals
with a third insurance goal
into an empty net in the last
minute of play, ensuring a
Seaforth victory.
On defence, the Seaforth
squad effectively cleared the
. front of their net and kept the
play in the Tavistock zone by
standing up at the blueline.

Seaforth,

resulted in easy goals.
Both games showed that
the club has managed to learn
the value of team play be-
tween the newcomers and the
veterans. Good checks, fine
passing and a unit system
have helped the team in the
early stages of building a
league contender. In the
shots -on -goal department,
the Centenaires should con-
tinue to increase their shoot-
ing average.
It is evident that the team -
can play as a unit and
pressure the better clubs
such as Tavistock and Exeter,
who were league leaders last
year.
The Centenaires will have
to prove that they are a strong
team next Sunday. October
17, when they meet Tavistock
in the league opener at 3:30 in
Hensall, Hopefully the team
will get the fan support it
deserves, in its first game of
the regular season,
